Abroad101 Makes Daily Tekk’s List of 100 Tech Tools for Teachers and Students!

Every Monday, DailyTekk features a Top 100 megapost featuring the best items in a industry or group. In a post appropriately titled 100 Tech Tools for Teachers and Students, we were featured among the best in “Tools for Students”. We are so honored to have made this list of smart, savvy and innovative companies. Others who stand beside us on the list include OpenStudy, AllTuition and Acceptly.

Chris McConnell, Founder and Editor of DailyTekk had this to say about his megalist.

“This list of education technology tools took about 6-8 hours to complete which is totally par for the course since this is something I do every Monday on DailyTekk. For these types of roundups I do a deep dive and spend hours combing favorite resources looking for great resources. I’m a huge Evernote user (professional, of course!) and I’m constantly taking screenshots throughout the day as I run into cool companies and services and tagging them for later use in a DailyTekk post. That was definitely the case for the EdTech post–I had already encountered some cool sites and services and decided it was time to pull the trigger. For the most part I was on the lookout for startups. Companies with great designs always stand out to me and have a better chance of making it onto one of my lists (not to mention getting some additional attention in the form of a linked screenshot). Of course, like our tagline says, things that are either cool or useful (or both) are what I’m really after so the companies that made this particular list fit into at least one of those categories for me personally.”
