Abroad101 is pleased to introduce Jacob Woodworth, Abroad101 Global Ambassador in Taipei, Taiwan this Spring semester. He will be studying at Ming Chuan University and sharing all his trials and tribulations with the Abroad101 community. He will begin his adventure February 4th; this will be his first time travelling abroad.
Jake studies Information Systems and Computer Science at Western Illinois University. In his professional career, he has interned for State Farm Insurance and John Deere. When he returns from Taiwan, he will be working for Abbott Laboratories in Chicago, IL.
His favorite travel memories are those from his family vacations.
In their latest trip to Siesta Key, Florida:
“We stayed at the Sarasota Surf and Racquet club, overlooking the beautiful white sands of Crescent Beach. I remember the smiles on my little sisters’ faces as they begin to explore the rooms of our condo for the first time. I remember walks on the beach after dark, accompanied only by the persistent sound of the ocean. But most of all, I remember how grateful I was for the opportunity to spend time with the people I love. With the years of my family in its youth growing to an end, I will always look back and remember Sarasota, Florida.”
